European ADRs Move Higher

American Depositary Receipts of European stocks were trading 1.02% higher at 1,052.36 on the BNY Mellon Europe Select ADR Index on Monday.

In continental Europe, the gainers were led by pharmaceutical company Oasmia Pharmaceutical (OASM) and biotech firm Zealand Pharma (ZEAL), which surged 11.8% and 8%, respectively. They were followed by 3D printer company Voxeljet (VJET) and biopharmaceutical company Genfit (GNFT), which climbed 3.8% and 2.7%.

Decliners in continental Europe were led by dating app operator Spark Networks (LOV) and software firm Talend (TLND), which fell 4.2% and 2.6%, respectively. They were followed by semiconductor company STMicroelectronics (STM) and pharmaceutical company Novartis (NVS), which lost 1.5% and 1%.

In the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical firm Verona Pharma (VRNA) and biotech company Autolus Therapeutics (AUTL), which rose 5.8% and 5.7%, respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical companies Avadel (AVDL) and AstraZeneca (AZN), which were up 3.4% and 2.3%.

Decliners in the UK and Ireland were led by software firm Endava (DAVA) and biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics (AKTX), which dropped 1.9% and 1.5%, respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical companies Amarin (AMRN) and GW Pharmaceuticals (GWPH), which were off 1.5% and 1%.
